Sony Aibo to return as Aibo PS?
Posted on Dec 9, 07 07:07 PM PDT
Word on the street has it that Sony will be reviving its deceased Aibo in the form of the Aibo PS. As the name suggests, this new robotic dog can hook up with your PSP and PS3 directly via WiFi, allowing you to control the Aibo over the Web, watch streaming view as well as retrieve e-mail alerts whenever the integrated camera senses motion.
The web-control feature is really cool (and long over due), but I hope that it can also connect to a computer, in addition of the PSP and PS3. If not, that would be a major blunder from Sony. The Aibo PS will not increase the console sales, but there is a slim chance that with the right features and most importantly the right price, the Aibo PS might succeed where its ancestors failed.

I think this is the coolest news ever!!!! for people who have not used or seen aibo they really are amazing and in my opinion paved the way for consumer robotics. And of course now its booming! I think this is very likely to be a reality.
