Sony DCR-DVD910 Handycam

Sony's DCR-DVD910 Handycam is the top-of-the-line version for this family, boasting everything the DVD810, DVD710 and DVD610 has and more. Some of the features unique to the DCR-DVD910 are its 15x Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T optics and 0.3-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor technology. In addition, you can also record on both Memory Stick PRO Duo media cards and a 3" DVD disc, although you do not get the benefit of 8GB of internal memory as found on the DVD810. Other features of the DCR-DVD910 include :-
- Face detection technology for photos and videos (max. of 8 faces per LCD frame)
- Automatic adjustment of focus, exposure and color control
- Flash control
- Bionz processing engine for fast processing speeds and additional noise reduction
- Hybrid movie recording - 3" DVD and Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo
- 2.7" (16:9) wide LCD touch panel screen
- 0.3-megapixel ClearVid CMOS sensor technology and 15x Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T optics
- Built-in zoom microphone
- Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround sound
- Comes out of standby mode in less than a second
- Capable of shooting 4 megapixel stills

See the spec, the 910 has lower optical resolution than 810 and 710
