VinFast Auto has officially launched its latest electric model, the VF 3, during CES 2024 in Las Vegas. The mini-eSUV is positioned as a smart, sustainable, and accessible urban mobility solution for a global audience. It boasts a distinctive exterior featuring a balance of geometric blocks and sleek lines — The design emphasizes, according to the brand, practicality, and style, featuring ample ground clearance and 16-inch wheels for navigating diverse terrains.

The interior follows a minimalist approach, providing ample space and integrating smart features for a comfortable driving experience and, as a mini-eSUV, the VF 3 was designed for everyday city commutes, with dimensions of approximately L125.6 x W66.1 x H63.8 (inches) and a target driving range of over 125 miles per full charge.

Standard features include a 10-inch-screen infotainment system (with Android Auto and Apple Carplay). Full folding second-row seats enhance cargo space (total capacity of 550 liters), making the vehicle suitable for “spontaneous adventures”. Ms. Tran Mai Hoa, Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing at VinFast Global, emphasized the VF 3’s introduction as a practical and personality-driven companion for young drivers.

Availability and Price

Following its initial debut in Vietnam six months ago, VinFast aims to globally launch the mini-eSUV — In 2024, reservations for the VF 3 will be accepted globally, with details on timing, pricing, delivery, and warranty policies to be announced for each market shortly.

According to Autoblog, VinFast reportedly engaged in discussions with U.S. dealers regarding their models, and there were suggestions that the VF 3 might be available for a price tag of under $20,000, a price that captured the attention of dealers, who found the combination of appealing design and affordability intriguing.
