BiTMICRO 1.6TB SSD
Posted on Feb 5, 08 08:20 AM PDT

You can tell that BiTMICRO is one company who does not rest on its laurels - shortly after releasing an 832GB SSD at the recently concluded CES '08, the same folk have just announced the 1.6TB Ultra320 SCSI SSD that prides itself in being the first of its kind in the world. It supposedly offers sustained data transfer rates of up to 230MB/sec, and for folks with smaller budgets, they can always pick up the 16GB version when it is launched in Q3 later this year. There is no word on pricing, but rest assured you're probably be able to buy a car with the amount of cash needed to bring one of these 1.6TB monsters home.
