Rinspeed Underwater Car
Posted on Feb 14, 08 06:36 PM PDT

I know this certainly sounds like the stuff of dreams, but Rinspeed has demonstrated its sQuba car at the Geneva Motor Show. What makes this vehicle unique is the ability to travel on land as well as drive underwater ala a submarine. If you've ever watched the classic Bond flick "The Spy Who Loved Me", then you'll probably get a better idea on how this car functions. Too bad you can't suit up that fast to alternate between land and underwater travel, and I'd strongly suggest waterproof Otterbox cases for your plethora of gadgets. It also makes one wonder what kind of license do you need to drive/pilot this thing?
