CardioNet Mobile Cardiac Recorder

CardioNet has just introduced its Mobile Cardiac Telemetry Monitor Recorder that can be hooked up to the Internet, where doctors can then monitor patients 24/7 thanks to a tiny sensor worn by the patient as he/she resumes with a normal way of life. Whenever a notable event occurs, patient activity will be transmitted to the CardioNet Monitoring Center automatically for further analysis and an appropriate response. Daily reports are sent from the physician's office to the patient's home via Internet or fax. I wonder with introduction of devices such as this, will physicians and doctors be even more overwhelmed as they have more cases to keep track off even remotely?
