Robotic Crab made from Lego

Lego bricks are outlets of creativity not only for children, but adults as well. This prototype robot crab made from Lego Technic bricks is the precursor for similar automated beings in the future that will be used for underwater exploration. Invented by a post-graduate at the University of Bath, the robot crab is able to move on land impressively, with plans to make it equally as agile underwater. When perfected, one can safely assume that the oil and gas industry, marine research and other companies that need an independent underwater vehicle will be lining up to place their orders. I wonder if the military will find use for something like this as well.
