Dell Inspiron Studio is Official

Dell has just made official its Inspiron Studio line, bridging the worlds of the XPS and Inspiron together in a mid-range product that is easy on the eyes and wallet. You will be surprised to note that higher end offerings are pretty well equipped, including a Blu-ray combo drive and 3G internet access courtesy of Sprint or Verizon (in the US anyway). Each system will max out with the following specifications :-

  • 4GB DDR2 RAM
  • 5,400 RPM 320GB SATA hard drive
  • 8-in-1 memory card reader

Each model is also powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor, boasting a 2 megapixel webcam, a quartet of USB 2.0 ports, VGA out, and a 54mm ExpressCard slot. The Studio 15 and 17 will retail for $799 and $999, respectively, shipping with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 or Ultimate SP1.
