We’ve had access to the new Dell Studio 1535 and 1735. If you missed them, the pair are 17” and 15” laptops with an updated design featuring features reserved to high-end laptops only like fingerprint reader, HDMI port, Firewire, Ethernet Gigabit and 5.1 surround sound, just to cite a few. With this series, it’s all about personalization: you can choose between eight different graphic designs to be followed by even more options in September (if only we could send our own images…). Don’t forget that accessories will also have matching designs. From what we’ve seen, they are cool, but we have not tested one “in the field”… From $799 at Dell
