MSI X320, X340 Ultra-Thin Netbook Pricing, Availability Revealed
Posted on Apr 1, 09 12:29 PM PDT

MSI is giving away its pricing for the X-slim series. Some context first: MSI has come up with Netbooks that are basically replicas of the Macbook Air. They are less powerful, but also much cheaper, which is a compelling argument.
The X340, which has a beefier CULV CPU at 1.3Ghz along with a 1366x768 display will cost just under $1000. The X320 has a 1.6Ghz Atom CPU along with wireless broadband (optional) will cost $700 in its basic form. Note that both will weigh 2.8lbs and feature a 4-Cell battery, although a 6-Cell is optional. Availability is set for May 2009.
