PSP-3000 Hacked
Posted on May 7, 09 11:03 AM PDT

Team Typhoon has managed a pretty impressive feat recently - they successfully hacked the PSP-3000 courtesy of team member Davee’s ChickHEN Homebrew Enabler. In order to provide proof necessary to stake this claim to fame, a Team Typhoon member has already posted a video of ChickHEN at work on YouTube, proudly claiming that “this proves that the code survives a reboot and the system software and MAC address can be changed.” The exploit is still under works and does have limited functionality, and PSP-3000 owners are still unable to play backups of PSP or PSX games in .ISO and .CSO formats, load plugins or even be remotely near the flash of a PSP.
