Matrox M9188 card drives eight 2650x1600 displays

While a couple of graphics companies compete in the massively parallel computing space, Matrox has found a cushy niche in massive multi-monitor setups. Prospect clients are said to be working on energy grids or train dispatch. It might just be the thing to follow all your Twitter updates too... Matrox also has dedicated software that should help with the multimon management. If you had four PCI slots, you might be able to mimic this by using four $150 cards. But that's much bulkier than the $1995 Matrox M9188.
