Runco Unveils Its New 3Dimension Series 3D Projectors

Runco, the company that makes home theater products for folks who are rich enough to own private yachts has introduced its 3Dimension Series projectors at CEDIA. Surprisingly, the projectors require users to use passive glasses instead of battery operated active glasses, though they’re not your standard RealD glasses that you see at the cinema, rather they’re proprietary ones, so maybe there’s some hidden magic inside it. The projector sports various connectors such as HDMI 1.4 and RS-232 (for home automation fans). In case you’re planning to install this on your yacht when it’s available in Q4 of 2010, the D-73d pictured above will set you back $49,995, which is probably just lunch money to you, right?
