Samsung goes back to the CRT screens, and tries to work around the most obvious issue: their size.
While this model is not by any mean flat, it is much better looking than previous CRTs. It delivers 720p or 1080i resolution, with a really good 5000:1 contrast. Take that LCD!
In my opinion, the pricing is a bit too high. $1199 for a 30″ CRT is not that attractive, and there’s competition from the low-end 30″ LCD TVs such as the Olevia, even if their image quality is not good. Good luck Samsung.
