Power Jacket helps partially paralyzed

The anorexic-looking girl you see is wearing a “Power Jacket” created by Matsushita of Japan. The inflatable exoskeleton weighs a mere four pounds and functions to help patients who are in rehabilitation to recover from partial paralysis. We are stumped as to how this exoskeleton works, but it will most probably use leverage of some sort in order to grant a degree of freedom to the partially paralyzed. Those with some serious coin to spare can pick one up for their closed and loved ones for $17,000. Imagine what the healthy and able-bodied will be able to do with this – probably those in the house moving business will find the Power Jacket to be an invaluable tool.
