We all know how much our money we actually spend each month to power our entire home, and would gladly look forward to an environmentally-friendly solution that will help us save money in the long run. Ian Gilmarting and Bob Cattley have developed a mini-waterwheel that requires a mere 18″ fall of water to generate ample power to keep your entire house running. Sure, the £2,000 installation fee might be prohibitive to most people but when you think about it the long run, it makes much more sense economically and environmentally. Hopefully a commercial version will be developed, wiping the smirk off the faces of power companies worldwide who make a killing each month.
