CES 2007 – With High Definition (HD) taking the world by storm via a plethora of HD devices such as TVs, camcorders, and consoles, it is only natural to start thinking of a wireless solution to combat the ever increasing amount of cables in your living room. Philips’ has unmasked its concept for a wireless HDMI solution at CES 2007, offering seamless connectivity that helps reduce the clutter in your home entertainment center setup. Known as the SWW 1800, this unique device will be available for $399 when released sometime this summer. As you can see from the photo, the transmitter is connected to your device (a DVD player in this case), sending signals over to the receiver which is located just beside the TV.
