Man, the Koreans are certainly a blessed lot. Not only do they have one of the highest broadband penetration rates in the world, their cellphones are something else. The Pidion BM-500 is a CDMA EV-DO smartphone that does nothing to dispel that notion, featuring a generous 2.8″ touchscreen display, wireless LAN, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 1.3 megapixel camera to capture photos for posterity. Just in case the onboard memory is not enough, there is always a miniSD card for you to fall back upon. Other specifications on this Windows Mobile 5.0 device are currently available, so you’ll have to wait until CeBIT 2007 kicks off later this week for more information.
