Emotional Social Intelligence device

They say that verbal communication sends only part of a message across, while most of our talking is done via body language. This software interprets emotions based on body language and facial expressions which are captured via a wearable computer/video camera combination. Do you think the police and authorities will be able to use this invention to help in their investigations when it comes to serious crime cases?
