Lenovo commemorative Olympic notebook

Lenovo has just unveiled its new commemorative notebook in conjunction with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Sporting a glossy exterior (hello, fingerprints!), this notebook features a sacred-fire design on the front in a lovely shade of red and white. Features include a FireWire port, a slew of USB 2.0 ports, a 12.1″ LCD display at 1,280 x 800 resolution, and a touchpad – doing away with the pointing stick that Lenovo was so fond of in the past. This notebook will be powered by Windows Vista and runs off an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. There is no word on pricing, but I don’t think this will become a collector’s edition as there won’t be a limited run.
