Sony has a couple of new LCD projectors up their sleeves in the form of the VPL-EX4 and VPL-ES4, delivering images at brightness levels of 2100 and 2200 lumens respectively. You get native XGA resolution with both projectors, along with a slew of user friendly features such as quick start, advanced key-stone correction, an extremely quiet fan, and seven picture modes to get you started. An IR receiver ensures you get to control the projector no matter which part of the room you’re at. Both LCD projectors are also environmentally friendly, consuming only 5W of power in standby mode. The VPL-EX4 and VPL-ES4 will be available from May and early summer 2007 respectively.
