For those who are still living in the past, I’m sure that you cling onto your VHS collection without showing any signs of letting go. Sony wants you to make that leap to DVD (although HD DVD and Blu-ray are slowly encroaching upon DVD’s territory) with this One Touch VHS-to-DVD unit. All you need to do is pop in your ageing VHS tapes (if they’re still working and are not moldy that is) and a blank DVD, press a button, and see everything transferred to a digital media. Heck, it even goes so far as to upscale video to 720p/1080i. You can pick this up this August, but the sticker price of $400 is rather off putting. Ah well, the price to pay for preserving your favorite memories.
