Air-pressure exoskeleton

The brains at the Kanagawa Institute of Technology in Japan have unveiled their air-pressure robot suit, with the long term goal of aiding the elderly get around much more easily. At this point in time, caregivers will be able to benefit from it most as they’ll be able to pick up any elderly people and transport them around with ease without breaking their backs. Apparently, wearing this air-pressure exoskeleton allows you to pick up someone weighing 220 pounds even if you are half that weight. The entire suit takes 10 minutes to put on and weighs 66 pounds. Great for house movers as they can cut down on the number of workers required to shift a whole truckload of furniture.
