Mac OSX Leopard launches officially on Oct 26

Apple has confirmed Oct 26 as the launch date for Mac OS X Leopard (10.5). The speculation had been going on for some time. My favorite new feature is Time Machine, the integrated backup system” I’m curious to see if it works as well as it looks. There are a bunch of other new features, but remember that Mac OS Leopard is not for everyone. If your computer is too slow, you might not want to upgrade. Mac computers bought from Oct 1st onwards qualify for a free upgrade.

Oh, and I think that BootCamp users *have to switch* to Leopard – is that still true?
