Fujitsu rolls out Quad HDMI solution

Most TVs these days come with an adequate number of HDMI ports, but the more is always merrier (as you can tell by the ever growing number of USB ports on a PC). Fujitsu has released a Quad HDMI solution that bundles a quartet of HDMI decoders into a single chip, using just a single amount of embedded memory for all four ports. This means you get more HDMI ports for less money compared to current technology while saving space in the process. Hopefully more and more peripherals and devices released in the near future will take advantage of Fujitsu’s achievement in this aspect.
