Xerox announced that it has successfully diverted over 2 billion pounds of electronic waste from landfills around the world via waste-free initiatives in order to create sustainability benefits for the company as well as its customers. Launched since 1991, Xerox’s environmental program managed to surpass its 2-billion-pound milestone by reusing and recycling imageing supplies, reusing parts as well as product take-back and recycling initiatives. Imagine how much cleaner the whole world would be if other printing companies do the same thing by reusing and recycling their printer cartridges and toner. Office managers would do well to take note of any possible green initiative they can take in order to preserve the world for their children.
