Sony Introduces W-Series of Cyber-shots

The W-Series Cyber-shot digital camera line has not been left out in the latest slew of releases from Sony, as you get the 10.1 megapixel DSC-W170 and the 8.1 megapixel DSC-W150. The Smile Shutter mode found on both models ought to come in handy when you’re trying to capture a family portrait with the camera being the judge – nobody leaves their position unless it has detected all the smiles, taking the perfect image of a happy family.

  • Carl Zeiss 5x optical zoom lens with wide angle view
  • Smile Shutter Mode
  • Intelligent Screen Recognition (iSCN)

In addition to the W170 and W150 that will retail for $250 and $300 respectively in April, there are also two more W-Series cameras that will hit retail stores this March. The W120 and W130 that retail for $200 and $230 respectively.
