Advantech Panels Run Windows CE

Advantech has just rolled out a couple of fanless panel computers which come with 3.5″ touch screen displays, running on Windows CE. Available in TPC-30T and TPC-32T models, both of them are capable of operating without a fan despite being cooped up in an enclosure made up of ABS plastic. Sounds like a nifty little fun device one can experiment with. Specifications of these two machines include :-

• 64MB RAM and 32MB flash memory
• 3.5″ touch screen display
• 300:1 contrast ratio
• 200-nit brightness rating
• 320 x 240 resolution
• 30,000 hour backlight life
• 1 x 10/100 Ethernet
• 1 x RS232/485 (TPC-30T)
• 1 x CAN-Bus (TPC-32T) (CAN-Bus 2.0B)
• 1 x USB host
• SD memory card slot
• 4.8″ x 3.4″ x 1″

There is no word on pricing for the TPC-30T and TPC32T, but they seem to be available now.
