Olympus Stylus 1050W

Olympus has a brand new tough stud of a camera in the form of the Stylus 1050W. This digital camera is not only waterproof like many other Olympus offerings in the past, it is also shockproof and freezeproof – or so that’s what the marketing propaganda claims. Some of the other features found on the Stylus 1050 include :-

  • Tap Control technology for easy navigation
  • 2.7″ touch screen display
  • 10.1 megapixel CCD sensor
  • Integrated accelerometer
  • 3x optical zoom
  • TruePic III image processor

It is able to function in temperatures as low as -10°, but I wouldn’t push that limit by bringing this to the Antartica. The Olympus Stylus 1050W will hit retail stores this October for 200€.
