Sony VAIO JS Priced

Is Sony trying to take on Apple by releasing its new VAIO JS styled after Apple’s computers? Perhaps, but the pricing is almost the equivalent of the 20″ iMacs and will come in two models – the VAIO JS190 and the VAIO JS130 which will retail for $1,499.99 and $1,099.99, respectively.

  • Windows Vista Home Premium
  • 4GB DDR2 RAM
  • 500GB hard drive
  • Integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam
  • Integrated Blu-ray player
  • Integrated Bluetooth

VAIO JS130

  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2.5GHz processor
  • 20.1? XBRITE-HiColor LCD
  • Windows Vista Home Premium
  • 4GB DDR2 RAM
  • 500GB hard drive
  • Integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam

Shipping commences early October, and at those price points, you can expect plenty of VAIO JS units to fly off the shelf.
