Fujitsu FOMA F905i Gets Out Of Japan

It is a given that Fujitsu’s line of FOMA handsets never see the light of day outside of Japan for one particular reason – they were not designed to work elsewhere. Well, things change this time round with NTT DoCoMo and Fujitsu introducing the FOMA F905i in Taiwan. While you can get this handset in the Land of the Rising Sun itself, this clamshell handset has been customized for the needs of Taiwanese users, including support for traditional Chinese characters as well as access to -mode, a mobile Internet service from Far EasTone. You will find a 3.2″ WVGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera and Fujitsu’s proprietary audio technology inside the FOMA F905i. Here’s hoping for more FOMA releases elsewhere in the world if you’re prone to their design.
