HP Makes Mini 2140 Available

You can stop staking out the HP Mini 2140 now as it is readily available for order on the HP site, with prices starting from $499 going all the way to $779, depending on what type of innards you want it to carry. We’ve already had a go at the HP Mini 2140 earlier this year (see our photo gallery), and we’re pretty pleased with its form factor and build quality. To kickstart its release, here are some basic specifications you should be aware of :-

• 10.1″ display
• Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor
• 1GB RAM
• 160GB hard drive
• 802.11a/b/g/draft-n and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
• Aluminum case

Throwing in another $30 will snag you a 6-cell battery version which is touted by HP to offer a whopping 8.5 hours’ worth of usage, although we’re pretty sure that means leaving the HP Mini 2140 lying there without any applications running.
