iRiver Rolls Out D50N

[CES 2009] iRiver is no stranger to the world of portable media players and MP3 players, and this time round they have unveiled the D50N which functions as an electronic dictionary. Not only does this digital tome help you out in your word power when you’ve got a writer’s block, it also doubles up as a full browsing capable device. Features of the D50N include :-

  • 4.8” TFT LCD (WVGA 800 x 480) with full touch screen capability
  • Full Browser
  • Instant Messenger support
  • 16GB NAND flash memory via microSD memory card slot
  • Integrated FM radio
  • Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Voice recording capability
  • Dictionary, photo viewer, vide and must playback
  • USB 2.0 connectivity

It looks rather block though, taking a step backwards from those super slim devices we’ve gotten used to these days. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
