Word on the street has it that Microsoft will unsheath their cloud-based syncing service known as SkyBox at Mobile World Congress next month. What’s SkyBox all about? Well, Apple fanboys are wont to say that this is a system similar to their MobileMe, as it is able to synchronize and backup your Windows Mobile phone over-the-air. The rumors don’t just stop there though as some parties speculate this service could eventually extend to non-WM devices eventually. Microsoft will also back up the SkyBox release with an enterprise version known as SkyLine, while SkyMarket will hold the distinction of being a mobile marketplace – can anyone say App Store?
