MSI Gets Busy For CES 2009

[CES 2009] The MSI booth will certainly be abuzz with activity this CES, economic downturn or not. The company will be parading a range of netbooks and computers for us to drool over, and among them will be the recently covered U115 Hybrid, which lays claim to being the first netbook in the world that runs on SSD and HDD simultaneously. MSI U120 Series The U120 series will not only feature an optional 3.5G network card for you to get online virtually anywhere with a decent signal, it is also WiMAX ready. Visitors to the booth will find that MSI’s WiMAX wireless environment allows superior surfing speeds thanks to the outstanding WiMAX wireless performance on the U120 there. Now if only WiMAX were to roll out on a large scale – that would definitely make the U120 worth a purchase.

MSI Wind NetOn Series The new all-in-one Wind NetOn family has four members, and they are the 22” AE2203, 19” AP1900, AE1901 and AP1902. The AE1901 is the first first all-in-one model in the world that is powered by an Intel dual-core Atom processor which offers superior operational performance in addition to saving energy, consuming a mere 20% juice of normal PCs (250W). As for the mode advanced AE2203 model, this one will come fully equipped with advanced AV and entertainment functions and supports up to Full HD resolution for your entertainment needs.

MSI Wind NetTop CD130 First we have netbooks, and now nettops could be next to take over the world. MSI’s new Wind NetTop model will also be paraded there, and it will be powered by an Intel dual-core Atom processor and takes up the space of just 25% that of a standard sized PC – great for those living in cramped apartments and need every square inch possible.

MSI G-Series Game notebooks MSI doesn’t just make netbooks and low-powered computers, as they too dabble in more powerful stuff like gaming notebooks. CES 2009 will see the MSI GT725, MSI GT727, MSI GT627 and MSI GX420 on display, with the new GT725 and GT727 breaking new ground in terms of gaming notebooks as they are the first two models to breach the 10,000 points barrier on 3Dmark.

MSI E-Series Entertainment notebooks Guess MSI has a little something for everyone just like Santa Claus, offering entertainment notebooks that feature upgraded performance to keep road warriors relaxed after a long hard day at the office. The entertainment notebooks on display comprise of the MSI Bravo EX620, EX720, EX630 and EX320, alongside the more advanced E-series notebooks: EX625 and EX623. The MSI EX625 is no pushover, featuring an integrated ATi Radeon HD4670 graphics card, a subwoofer, Dolby Surround II audio, a 16:9 cinema-level 16” display and an optional Blu-ray drive.
