Nokia’s N78 owners will benefit from a firmware update today that has reached v20.149.051.1. Since the phone itself has already been around for quite some time now, this update ought to be stable by any means. According to Nokia, the v20.149.051.1 firmware will update your Nokia Maps to v2.0, increase your overall system speed while helping menu transitions work much faster and smoother. DailyMobile has the full monster change log if you’re interested, but as a general rule of thumb, firmware updates often make your device work better than ever (although there have been exceptions in the past, of course). Remember to back up your data before you apply this update lest all your personal data gets wiped out in case anything goes wrong!
