Transcend PF810 Digital Picture Frame

[CES 2009] Digital picture frames are dime a dozen, and Transcend attempts to be different this CES with the PF810 digital picture frame. Frankly, there isn’t really too much different about this apart from the inclusion of a touch-based bezel (comprising of 8 keys in total) that follows the current industry design. You will get the following specifications with the PF810 :-

  • 8″ TFT LCD display at 800 x 600 resolution
  • 4:3 aspect ratio
  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • USB connectivity
  • 2GB internal memory
  • Audio and video playback
  • Supports popular audio/video formats
  • Integrated FM radio

No idea on pricing, but it would be nice to see touchscreen capability implemented in a digital picture frame. Oh, the lack of Wi-Fi connectivity pushes this down a notch in the food chain even more. Guess this is meant for folks looking for an entry level device to place in their living room.
