Vodafone and Opera Software have come to an understanding, with both companies working together so that handsets will be able to offer users an enhanced mobile Internet experience in the near future. The latter will develop a custom-made version of its popular Opera Mini mobile browser for phones from Vodafone, providing an expected high-quality mobile Internet experience no matter where the user is despite using a low- or mid-range handset. This version of Opera Mini will be released in Vodafone markets across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. It will specifically target users in developing countries who are most likely to experience the Internet for the first time through a cell phone. Guess Apple and Microsoft have nothing to worry about for now.
