Looks like even the Toshiba G450 has not escaped from the hand of cloners – this handset is now available in a much cheaper form – the M688. You get integrated MP3 playback and 2GB of flash memory to get you going, while the built-in FM tuner allows you to check out what the local DJs are currently up to instead of listening to the same MP3 files over and over again. Other features include a rather tiny 0.8″ LCD display and a solitary speaker, so those who want stereo sound would have to resort to a pair of headphones instead. Forget about other specifications we take for granted these days such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivty as well as Java support. Ah well, what can you expect from a $66.49 phone anyways?
