With so many different netbooks flooding the market at the moment, it makes perfect sense to pick up an (relatively) old Eee PC 701 and tinker around with it – who knows what you might end up with? markp1989 tried his luck with the above-mentioned netbook, resulting in a tablet mod of the Eee PC 701. Some of the work consists of cutting a hole in the lid followed by flipping the screen’s innards around – this is no easy feat when you think about it. Will someone with enough intestinal fortitude, skill and money take the time to come up with a 9″ Eee PC tablet mod instead of waiting for an official version from Asus themselves?
