Are your hands itching for a fancy DIY project that is able to impress the girl next door as well as your mates? Why not pick up the following environmental sensors from Futurlec – these gas sensors will come in a few forms, including CO2, alcohol (for breathalyzers), ozone, and “air quality” (several gases). They don’t look overly complicated, and it will be interesting to see somebody pick these up and connect it to an Arduino for a cool portable gas-quality detecting machine. We wonder whether the same person can come up with a fart detecting version – now that’d be a hoot.
