We guess the executives at Nintendo are virtually laughing their way to the bank, as they continue to see phenomenal sales of their underpowered (relatively speaking, of course) console known as the Wii as well as strong sales of the DS worldwide. Needless to say, after being in existence for a few years, they have already managed to make the manufacturing process more affordable, hence increasing the profit margin even more considering Nintendo has yet to drop the retail price of the Wii. According to numbers bandied about, the Wii now costs nearly half the price it did in 2006 to produce, which virtually means a doubling in profit.
