Puppee Linux Runs Off USB Flash Drive

Puppee Linux is aptly named as it boast the vigor of a young pup, being a small and fast Linux distribution that can run from a USB flash drive directly. What makes it special is the fact that it has been optimized to run on Asus Eee PC netbooks, which means support for the Eee PC’s screen resolution, Wi-Fi chipset, speakers and other hardware straight out-of-the-box. Heck, even the Eee PC’s Fn keys have been enabled accordingly while running on Puppee Linux to make that Windows XP withdrawal symptom easier to bear. A quick test drive saw Puppee 4.2 boot up from a flash drive in approximately 45 seconds, and everything ran rather responsively right from the get go. Have you given Puppee Linux a chance already?
