Sony HDR-TG5V Camcorder with GPS Launched

Sony has updated its HDR-TG Series with the TG5V, a new camcorder that can record video in 1080p resolution on its 16GB of storage – but it can also geotag the videos (or photos). geotagging can be useful if you decide to sort your movies/photos by location (and date), which is actually logical if you think about it.

There’s a 2.7″ LCD display and a minimalist user interface, which is similar to previous models. As with many of these camcorders, there’s a 10X optical zoom and if you wonder how long you can tape, 16GB is about 6 hours, but you’ll probably run out of battery before then.
