Asus Ships Eee PC 1004DN In Taiwan

The Asus Eee PC 1004DN that first made a bow at CES earlier this year has finally started to ship in Taiwan, although there is no word on whether it will be made available to those who are living outside of that country in the near future. After conversion, the Eee PC 1004DN is going for approximately $608 which is pretty pricey, although you do get the advantage of a fingerprint scanner for better security and a built-in CD/DVD burner. Do keep a close eye on the battery life though as you certainly wouldn’t want to end up with a case of no batteries during your travels just because of your overzealous burning of photos and movies before leaving home. How many people would like to see this puppy make its way Stateside?
