Eee PC 1001HA might not make it Stateside

While the new Asus Eee PC 1001HA is now official, it doesn’t look as though it will be heading Stateside since it is more or less a minor variation of the popular Eee PC 1005HA. After all, the user manual does feature the words “Eee PC User Manual Windows XP Edition Eee PC 1005/1001 Series” on the first page itself to give the game away. Specifications-wise, expect nothing different from the rest with a 10.1″ display, a 160GB hard drive, Wi-Fi n connectivity, as well as a glossy finish on the lid and palm rest to make it a prime candidate for a fingerprint magnet. No word on pricing though, but then again don’t expect this to come at an exorbitant price tag.
