Virus Out To Trick iPad Owners Running Windows

It seems like Facebook isn’t the only way to scam users using the iPad as bait. Now the folks over at Bitdefender have found a virus that tries to lure iPad users. A link to the virus arrives in the form of an unsolicited email, urging you to update your iTunes to get the “best performance, newer features and security”. When infected, your Windows PC will then be open to unauthorized access (which is something that you don’t want). So if you come across an email that seems to talk about weird stuff related to your iPad, you might want to think twice before clicking, and keep your antivirus updated. This virus doesn’t affect Mac users according to BitDefender’s statement.
