PlayOn offers new (and higher) pricing structure

PlayOn, the name of the media server software that is famous for bringing a whole boat load of online video repositories to the comfort of your living room has decided to increase its current one-time payment of $20 to a $39.99 upfront charge. The story doesn’t end there, however, as the money trail will continue via annual recurring payments of $19.99. In order to justify this new pricing structure, PlayOn will offer a new Comedy Central channel, NHL, TV.com and PBS content.
