With cell phones being so common nowadays, it’s easy to forget the humble house phone that we grew up with. Maybe it’s just that it’s not as feature rich as your iPhone or Nexus One, or because it’s tied to a landline, but the reality is that we’re using our landlines a lot less at home. This concept WIPI Phone might actually bring some spice back to your home phone, and at a glance, it does look like it belongs in a modern home. This isn’t an official device by Samsung, but the designer probably thought that it would lend some credibility to the design. USB and RJ45 ports seem to be included, and couple that with the display, we’re thinking that this phone should be able to handle some form of video playback and video chatting, though in all honesty, many cell phones in the market can already do that, but they don’t look ascool, do they?So do you think that landlines will be gone in the future, or will beautiful designs such as this be its saving grace?
