Cisco works on Wi-Fi-enabled Flip camcorder

Who would have thought that something as simple as the Flip camcorder would have made such a splash in the consumer electronics market? Cisco is currently working on a new version of the Flip which will boast Wi-Fi connectivity, where it is tipped to hit the market before the year is over (and hopefully before the mad holiday season begins). Wi-Fi connectivity would be useful since you no longer need to hook it up to a computer to transfer recorded videos, but it will definitely drain the battery life by a wee bit more. On the other hand, could we see the inclusion of a more comprehensive on-the-spot video editing software on the new Flip? That would be cool since you can then upload edited videos straight onto YouTube or Facebook without a PC as a middleman.
